Horseshoe Meadows Rd
If the Inyo website says the Horseshoe Meadows campground is still closed. Do you think this late in May the 24 mile road to the campground is open and clear? I'm headed up next weekend for a preliminary peek at the portal and some high altitude breathing before my Whitney climb.

Hi Tollermom,
HM Road is open and you can drive up to the trailhead and park, the
campground may be opened this coming weekend (straight from the horses mouth

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

awesome! Thanks for the link. Crossing fingers for a couple scorchers before this weekend to melt any fresh fallen snow.
