I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Getting to that time of the year when road conditions become important.
What is the latest on Horseshoe Meadows road after the first winter storm? Can anyone tell me if the road is open all the way to the trailheads? Thanks.

Was there last weekend (11/1-3/13). Road conditions were excellent. A (very) few small patches of ice in the shade above summit. Gate to equestrian parking was closed (don't know if it was locked). Water is off at the TH so fill up before you get there.
