Mount Russell climb this weekend?

Hey If all national parks are closed now due to the govt shutdown. Can I still go climb Mount Russell this weekend? Will i need a whitney portal permit? will they close the road?

Road is open, campgrounds are closed. No where to get permit. If you still
decide to go leave an itinerary back home.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
