I just wanted to say hello to the HST community. I've been backpacking since the early 1970's, with several significant lapses. I thought that it was time to stop lurking and get involved with a group that shares interests similar to mine. Looking forward to learning lots for the group.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
