Anyone have any experience with this brand? I'm particularly curious to know if the THRIVE Express packages are any good.

Re: THRIVE Freeze Dried Foods
I have no experience with the Thrive products but I have bought several times from Honeyville. I have been happy with everything I bought from them. I really liked there freeze dried cheeses and chicken.

Re: THRIVE Freeze Dried Foods
never tried this brand, but I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't just another label put on the same cans you can get from "Provident Pantry" at some other food storage outfitters. All you really have to worry about is how much sodium is found in some of the prepared meals. I usually only buy the meats and mix my own meals using cheap entrees from the super market.

Have not tried this brand either. The price is reasonable though I did not check shipping
charges. The sodium content is high as most freeze dried meals, for example they have
the Southwest Chicken w/Rice listed at 590mg and this is for one serving size which is at
very low 1/4 c per serving.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Re: THRIVE Freeze Dried Foods
Cheers for the replies. I'll admit that I'm a bit lazy at times, and more often than I should, go to the prepared meals rather than do my own. This year my wife and I are trying to do a better job of pre-ordering ingredients to home test a few new meal ideas we have/have come across so we can be better prepared (for the sodium concern as well as palatability). Bigger issue is going to be finding the time to get away with a 2 year-old running around, and another one on the way due in early July.
