On the horizontal shot I used a warming polarizer and a split 3 hard step filter at about 150 mm, so some of the canyon walls and higher trees picked up some extra exposure from the filter. I also tried a 3 soft step, didn’t work with a 4 stop difference between the peaks and the foreground at 150 mm.
