Shuttle or Hitch from South Lake to North Lake

All discussion related to transportation to, from and within the Sierra Nevada. Need directions or flight information? Info on road conditions? A ride to the trail head? Shuttle or Hitch from South Lake to North Lake

I tried to search this, but words "North," "South" and "Lake" are too common.

A friend and I will arrive Sunday 2-3 pm at South Lake and need a ride to North Lake.

Do you think we should arrange a shuttle in advance? Or hitch it?

I would hitch it Big Man just offer them a few bucks for gas.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Leave the pack and your friend at North Lake, easier for one person to get a ride.
Would also make a sign with "North Lake" on it.

Always seemed easier for a one to hitchhike with a backpack - (shows you are a real backpacker and IMHO a necessary prop)
and always a sign saying where you are going...
IE, Spelling $outh lake with a dollar sign ($= S) helps too.
