Had to bring SnowDude up here after driving it twice. We drove the Swansea Grade, stopped at the Salt Tram, hiked Pleasant Point, found a terracache, stopped at Cerro Gordo, back to Burgess Mine roadend for the night.

Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free . . . . Jim Morrison

Dayclimbed New York Butte, Forgotten Peak and Peak 10,457'. Keynot was
another 900' descent and 1600' ascent. We ran out of time so we headed
back. Lots of uphill going back!

I bped into Buck Island Reservoir over the Rubicon Trail from Lake Tahoe over the 4th. I saw one stock Rubi at the lake, a guy with his son and numerous other 4X4's, mostly Toyota pu's. I jogged and walked most of it, left my Mt. bike about 5-6 miles in. From past experience it isn't fun pushing the bike uphill and carrying it over rocks, then I crashed and burned in a spot coming out just about the time I was thinking I needed to walk. Ouch, got charlie horsed on my thigh. Can we say, Act your age! Not!!!!
Piece of cake.
