Lone Pine Peak dayclimb from Grass Lake

Fun hike, felt better than the last two times I hiked this. Hail at the top for a few minutes. Looked like it was storming all around us, but sunny on the summit. It started raining part way down the chute, and was coming down hard at the bottom. It let up by the time we got back to camp. Packed up, hiked out, stopped by the Portal store for burgers and fries! Fun weekend!

MiT, It didn't bother me at the time. When Dave said my hair was standing up I got down from the boulder as quick as I could. I didn't notice the hair standing up, til I saw it in the photo. :retard: The pack? It felt good to take it off. Back still bothers me
TT, Congrats on getting on this board, finally! Those were my favorite shots too. I took so many shots of those peaks. The lighting was so cool! I was almost expecting a tornado to appear!
