Reservations for the backcountry campgrounds at Point Reyes National Seashore are now exclusively online at Recreation.gov. For us locals there's no more watching the weather and phoning up the day before for a site. Here's the link for reservations:

What about walk-in permits? I have never reserved. Does this mean I have to reserve?

You can still get walk-in permits the day of. Here are the new rules:
