Introduction (under duress) :-)

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

There is also a LOT of stuff already on this site, if you use the search function on the top right.

For example, If you search for "fly rod recommendations", you'll find a great thread at: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4451&p=26666&hilit= ... ons#p26666" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
