Is there a way to post images from iPhoto on my Mac?

Kicking the Photobucket
Having had it with Webshots (it can no longer even access half of the photo files on my computer), I just tried Photobucket. However, when I try to link to the photos on that site, they are all sized too big, and get cut off here. Any ideas?

Hi quentinc, try giving the rimg tags a try - typically the img tags are used, and the rimg tag is supposed to resize an image to fit the dimensions of the forum layout

I all of a sudden had the same problem too Q, just replace the [IMG] in the tag to HST's
"rimg" a each end and it will show perfectly, just as Copeg pointed out.

Many of us here (my self included) use webshots. However, webshots is going away as far as public sharing goes, so...what are we going to do with all the soon to be broken links?

Re: How To Post Photos & Where To Store Them
That's an issue that will have to be addressed post by post, unfortunately. You'll need to PM the OP to ask if they might be able to update the links (if available). We already have plenty of threads with broken photo links. The exceptions are those that chose to upload their photos to HST as attachments. I encourage people to chose that option, but also understand and respect reasons why some decide not to.

Eric -
How about linking from photobucket? I don't see the rimg option, only img, and they all get cut off.

Re: How To Post Photos & Where To Store Them
Yah, sorry about that. There currently is no rimg button. But if you click on img and then just add an "r" in front of the beginning and end tags it should work for you. Other than cutting off, are you having any other issues linking from Photobucket?
