If you don't know where you're going, then any path will get you there.

Re: Sierra Related Name Ideas for Eric's Baby
Well, I never had children...my names of choice were Forrest and Tenaya...(Tenaya and Mariah for twins...ha!) Went well with my last name. In fact there is a Forrest and a Tenaya with very similar last names as mine in my local phone book. There are numerous Sierras and Whitneys.
Casey if your favorite place is King's Canyon (K.C.)
Pywiak, Ilillouette, Tueealala, maybe even Columbine, my favorite flower, would be too unusual.
I've heard outdoorsy names... Brooke, Rocky, Summer, River, Sage, Clover, Camper, Lark...locally, especially in places like the Millpond Music Festival.

Named both my boys after Eastern Sierra lakes....Parker and Leavitt! Even named my dog
Ellery after that lake on Tioga. My family thinks I'm wired! The joke
was whether I was going to give Leavitt a middle name of Stubblefield after our escapade in that canyon the year before he was born.

Congratulations Eric. I wouldn't call it being AWOL - it's paternity leave.
I don’t need a goal destination. I need a destination that meets my goals.

Haha..funny! I thought of that when we picked the name. My wife wanted it to have a little more of a female touch, tho, thus the "y" in the spelling.quentinc wrote:Congratulations Eric! I guess Mt. Emerson will be her first peak.
