Last weekend returned to the Coso Range to search for the second of the two F-4Js that collided over the north end of the China Lake Naval Weapons Center. Was able to find the badly burned remains of the second fighter along with lots of other interesting stuff. So far must have found about 50% of the wreckage from the two planes. Planning on going back one more time to search the area to the northeast for the main wreckage of the first plane which I’ve only found the tail, one wing and lots of small parts. Photos at

Congratulations on finding more of the wreckage!
