We are SO Lucky!

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Those of us with two lungs and two legs.
We are free to roam the Sierra with impunity.
Is it not a small price to pay to give to those cut down by disease like cancer?

My wife, Saint Diane (my pet name for her) is a recovering pancreatic cancer patient (two+ years). It' a minor miracle. I can really appreciate what your saying. Helping those less fortunate than us is something anyone in a position to do so should seriously considering doing.
