Ready Made Resources' LIFESAVER 4000?

Has anyone checked this thing out yet? Can allegedly filter out down to virus-sized nasties (.015 microns), but that seems kinda dubious to me.

I only watched one "episode", so I never did find out weight, but...
Looks like an impressive tool under the right conditions - Kayaking pond scum?
Thoughts:
Not really needed backpacking the Sierra or,
You carry it.
