SIERRA INSPIRATION PHOTOTHON!
Lets post a photo a day(one photo post) till March 20 the first day of spring or longer
to get everyone revved up for the season(though I think most of us have been ready to
get out).
From today to the end of this month let's post pictures of our beautiful Sierra lakes only.
I'll start with this picture of Amphitheater Lake as the pic for the day.

Maverick, The forum is an inspiration everyday. My photos are not near the quality of the competition but I'll start off with this!

OR, did you ever have a chance to visit Arrowhead Basin(my name) right over
Arrow Pass?
Really cool place, but skeetrz can be horrible during the first half of the summer.
I've climbed over the shoulder of Pyramid Peak and then down to Paradise.
The alternate route is to follow the creek down which is just as adventurous as
the Pyramid route just in other ways.

Considered it. But too close to Randy's accident for me.

Re: SIERRA INSPIRATION PHOTOTHON!
All right let's make it any Sierra photo so as not to limit people who may not have
many photo's of one type of scenery.
I'd like us to build a library of photo's for people who google for photo's of a specific area
to be routed to HST so we can build an even larger membership.
I know many folks enjoy seeing a picture of there destination just to see if it really looks
like what they envisioned, though I like the surprise myself.

Yes I know.
I have been to that area near Window Peak Lake.
Met him a few years before the incident near the lakes under Arrow Pass where we
had a great conversation about the Sierra, photography, and wilderness in general over
some jerky.

Ok, I'll give it a shot, but you have to guess which lake in the Sierra this is. There is a small hint in the picture.
