In two weeks I'm considering some wheeling combined with hiking. I was wondering if anyone has tried this road in a full sized truck. I have an F150 and based on all the video and photos I have found of this road it looks highly questionable if the width of a full sized truck could be pulled off.
My alternatives are Laurel Lake for Bloody Mountain or Coyote Flat to the end north of Green Lake for Cloud Ripper.
So far Sentinel is showing questionable patches of snow so might be an issue at any of these locations. Will have to see what two more weeks of melt does.
For reference my F150 has a 4 inch lift and am running 35 inch nitto ridge grapplers at F rating. I also have aftermarket bumpers with high approach angle.

Re: Mcgee Mountain Road
we went up in a nonlifted full size gmc sierra, in 2023 for eclipse, biggest deal was if there was someone else on road might have to back up to somewhere to let them by.

Re: Mcgee Mountain Road
Well that's good to know. I may give it a try and see if I add more pin strips to my truck.
