Caltrans, District 10:
#TuolumneCounty Caltrans is pleased to announce SR-108 / #SonoraPass will officially REOPEN to motorists on Thurs. May 15th, 2025, at 10:00AM

Our Caltrans D10 Long Barn & D9 Sonora Junction maintenance crews made great progress with their pass clearing operations on SR-108 this season exceeding our annual goal of re-opening the highway prior to Memorial Day and one day earlier than the 2023-24 season.

SR-108/Sonora Pass will remain closed in the interim EB at KennedyMeadows. For the latest highway conditions #KnowBeforeYouGo w. Caltrans QuickMap app on your mobile device!

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
