I'm wondering what's going to happen with trail maintenance in all the national forests this summer. Having no seasonal back country rangers is crazy. I'm wondering how the heck anything is going to be accomplished by forest service, at all.
Yosemite will be a mess, for sure.

Re: Trail maintenance this summer
The USFS rangers I volunteer with are struggling with exactly that issue. I will be spending more time on the traiils this summer because of this, but most of the time will be within a day's hike of the trailhead, where most of the traffic is, and much of the work.
