R03/R01 TR: mt styx, finish the Goddard quad 2024

9/11-9/13 2024.
My final trip to finish all the peaks in the list of johns Goddard quad final peak mt styx next to Mount Goddard by the Starr route.

9/11 Day 1 north lake trailhead to lowest? lake in Darwin bench. By way of wishbone peak. 10 miles, 4000gain 2000 loss, 5 hours.

Day 2 camp to Styx by way of wanda lake and the starr route to Goddard as Styx is on way to Goddard, fun route but kind of loose. Then back to camp. 16miles 4000gain/loss 8 hours took my time.

Day 3 camp to North lake Th nice easy day then drive home, great trip super beautiful, great camp spot, 2 nights 3 days way easier and then huge dayhike I had initially planned. 10miles 2000gain 4000 loss 5 hours. No pictures have done this couple times, and more to come to get Darwin, Mendal, Gould, Tom ross.

Great trip all the way to your goal. I agree with tomba-- from your photo south from the summit it looks super clear! Kaweah Peaks in the distance easily seen. WE look forward to seeing your pictures from climbing in the far south one day... or have you already been all around the Kern - Kaweah area?

I love the color of that high lake near Lamarck Col. Is it one of the Schober Lakes-- which is it exactly gazelle? Thanks, Harlen.

i have done some Kaweah area trips one was the meetup 2015 in Kaweah basin, did some peaks on way in. I think I did a trip report for that. another trip I did Black Kaweah. Both trips had weather so didnt get as many peaks as I wanted!
