Hey Lunkerking,
I have a dog-eared copy of WD's precious Wind River Guidebook, and reluctantly, I too am willing to part with it for only $4,000-- new savings to you of $995.00! I believe that is as low as any of us are willing to go Lunkerking, so you had better jump on this offer.

I have another idea: Nancy, why don't you offer to buy Bishop_Bob's and my copies back-- say, for $3,500.00 each, then you could sign them, and put them back out for sale for $6,000 each! You'd clear a cool $5,000 alone on that deal. You've already got one book sold to Lunkerking (who already owns a cheap car) and will probably jump to buy a signed copy for $6000. Buy that fancy tent you've always wanted, and some decent boots.
Properly trained, a man can be dog’s best friend.

Daisy, I would add that I would buy your guidebook, too. If it was available...at a reasonable price :). What do the initials SFLW stand for, by-the-way? Might be defined in your book. I know the area you mean by it. I hiked through there in part down the Bears Ear trail but unfortunately didn't have time to fish those many lakes. Thanks again for your perspective. And for any more information that you can provide.

SFLW is the South Fork of the Little Wind River. NFLW is the North Fork of the Little Wind River. These are the two main drainages on the Reservation.

Well, I am now slaving away on an update. I can get more books printed but I really hate to sell a book when I know an update will be out within a year.

WD: Oooh nice. Looking forward to the next edition. I’ve only hiked twice in the Winds and Beyond Trails has been instrumental. Planning on dragging my 71 year old butt up there again this summer, probably for 2 long hikes. Elkhart to Boulder and Worthen Meadow loop. Of course those ideas change every time I go through your route pics!
