I can't access it either, but somehow the 'coracasey' AI bot figured out how to post to it.

This new forum is a work in progress. The intent is migrate trip reports into this section, and be a place for future reports to reside. We may add subforums at a later date to organize by region/trailhead, but for now Maverick appears to be moving older trip reports into this section, and I'm working on setting up the forum and permissions (so thanks for the heads upon on not being able to view  )

I started at 211 pages and am down to page 169. It’s slow going since I have to figure out the dates for a lot of earlier TR’s, and many of the photo links are broken. I have been able to go to a few people’s existing websites and add the links to the specific TR’s, but this is time consuming. It doesn’t help that I have two of my staff out sick.
Once it is up and running you will be able to read trip reports for weeks on end during the cold winter months.😊

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I guess I do not understand the rationale for a different place for trip reports. Are the trip reports also going to stay in the current location? What if someone posts in the old location- does it stay there or get moved?

Having a centralized location for trip reports will make locating them easier. For members who have issues using the “search” feature, this will allow them to shift through a few dozen of pages instead of a few hundred.
We are planning to recategorize them by location (NP and NF) in the future, which will make looking up location even faster.😊

No, they are not.

It will be moved into the Trip Reports section.

Only TRs from the “Backpacking” section.

What will you do with backpacking trip reports now located in the "Winter Sports" catagory, Peter? I've have long wondered if I should post those winter trips in "Backpacking" instead? I would love to have all trip reports in a more centraized location, and nearly half of my are in Winter Sports? Might you move them, and the others by Paul, et.al. over to the new location? Ian.
