This stick looks like an animal

Post by tomba »

In Davis Lake basin in central Sierra I said to my wife:

"Look, this stick looks like an animal."

As I continued walking I heard my wife exclaim "It moved!"

I think it's kuna, a.k.a. pine marten.

Super cool Tomba! If it was really thin, then it could have been a long-tailed weasel, but they usually have a distinctive set of white patches on their face. Looks just like a Pine marten to us. Thanks, Harlen.
