Sierra "Variety Pack"

Post by MtnRunner »

Friday, August 16th, 2024

I spent half the day up off of Jackson Meadows Road, from Hwy 89 North out of Truckee. The video starts with checking out the sunrise at Perazzo Meadows. From there, I stopped to see the morning mist rising from Webber Lake, on the way to Meadow Lake. Before reaching Meadow Lake, I could see Fordyce Lake and Old Man Mountain from a ridgetop on Meadow Lake Rd. On the way back from Meadow Lake, a stop at Lacey Meadows and Webber Lake. Next, some four-wheeling up to Morgan Point, a ridgetop with a nice view of Sierra Valley, then back down to Lake of the Woods.
As always, speakers on...

I stabilized my videos last weekend using the Google Photos app. I was able to get rid of the "shaky hands" effect, albeit the scene transitions became a bit wonky; yet only on the transitions where the panning direction switches. So be it; at least from now on, I can stabilize the raw clips before I pull them into my editing app and finalize.
Here's the improved video...
