R03/R01 TR: 7/28 – 8/3/24 Loop via Taboose Pass

I am also doing a very similar trip starting on 8/29. Likely going down CCP on 8/31 or 9/1. I am hoping the snow can be skirted as well. We head back from Amphtheater Lake over UBC. I've been over Taboose Pass 3 times in the past, and at my age, I expect that will be the crux.

I’m looking forward to hearing what you all find with the remaining snow on CCP. Ah, yes, good old Taboose Pass, the struggle is real. After wearing shorts up it and walking through a stand of cow parsnip (from which the rash is still healing) I will wear pants next time despite the heat.
