I'm taking some friends backpacking down to Waterhouse Lake in the Emigrant Wilderness over Labor Day (the only wknd they were available) and we're planning on spending a couple of nights.
In the past, I've really enjoyed hiking past the lake and camping a little closer to the actual river at the bottom of the canyon. Does anyone know whether there's enough water in the river right now that it's actually flowing, rather than just a series of stagnant pools? Thx!
water level/flow on South Fork Stanislaus, near Waterhouse Lake?

OK, let's make this simpler: can anyone tell me what the flow is like where the river empties into Pinecrest Lake?
