Seeking Iceberg/Cecile/Minaret Lakes snowfield report

Hi all - looking to detour my SOBO JMT this weekend but heading up to Iceberg/Cecile/Minaret lakes. I’ve done plenty of research on the route, which I understand involves some class 3 and route finding. Based on my experience and everything I have read, I am comfortable taking this challenge on. That said, I am looking for updates on the presence of snowfields along this route.

A post in “Sierra Nevada Condition Reports & Current Conditions” on Facebook noted the existence of 2 brief but dangerous snowfields on July 20th which appeared to require spikes at the time of the post. I am looking for information on if these snowfields are still present, in which case I’d need to either ditch this plan or pack microspikes. Thank you!

Mike, I hiked to the Ritter summit on 7/26/24. I've got a photo of Iceberg lk and there's very little snow at the lake. I did not hike to iceberg but the view from Ritter is pretty clear.
