Sierra Nevada in Spain Next Year?
While the High Sierra in California always call us back, I've been thinking it would be amazing to explore the Sierra Nevada mountains in southern Spain next year https://www.spain.info/en/nature/sierra ... ural-park/
Has anyone here visited that region? I'm curious to hear about hiking trails, scenic overlooks, or any other parts of Andalusia worth seeing beyond the Sierra Nevada National Park. Its highest peak, Mulhacén, makes it a pretty impressive range. Any first-hand experience or advice from those who have been would be greatly appreciated as I start planning for next year's adventure.

Hey buddy, I actually had the chance to visit the Sierra Nevada mountains in southern Spain a couple of years back. The trails up to Mulhacén was just stunning and offer some of the most breathtaking views I've ever seen. You can hike in Pampaneira, Capileira, and Trevélez too. There are few trails.
I'd definitely recommend checking out Granada. The Alhambra palace is a must-see. You can visit historic quarter of Córdoba, the Mezquita cathedral, Alcázar royal palace in Seville.
Let me know if you need any other specific recommendations as you start planning your trip.

Re: Sierra Nevada in Spain Next Year?
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains in southern Spain, @davishere! I really appreciate you confirming that area as a top priority during my visit next year. Granada, Córdoba and Seville all sound like fascinating historic cities to explore as well. The Alhambra, Mezquita cathedral, and Alcázar palaces sound absolutely magical! I love getting insider tips on must-see places, as guidebooks can only tell you so much.
The other question I would like to ask is probably after climbing the Sierra Nevada I would be exhausted to explore those incredible sites you recommended on foot. It would be interesting to hear some English-speaking private car tours recommendation as well.

You're right that after hiking the Sierra Nevada mountains, exploring those places on your own might be a bit too much. I have used GowithGuide's service once in Mexico. You can look for their private car tours as well. They have private tours as well as private car tours. Have a wonderful trip to Spain next year.

I really appreciate the recommendation, that's really helpful! Private car tours through GoWithGuide seem like a great option to see those historic sites after hiking. Being able to customize your own itinerary and have an English-speaking guide take you between destinations is really appealing. Much appreciated for passing along that suggestion.
