White Wolf and Tuolumne Meadows Grill - Open?

Food is on my mind, and my stomach is growling. I've scoured the digital wasteland, only to find a desert (almost wrote dessert) of non-useful information—a dearth of delectable details. It seems the culinary treasures of White Wolf and TM Grill are sealed shut. Any fresh news out there to folks in the field?

TM Grill is still in disrepair and not open. Maybe later this summer. But I would not count on it. I don’t know about WW.

They just opened the road to White Wolf. The campground is still closed, so I would guess everything else is too.

Recreation.gov shows "X" (not available at all) for White Wolf campground through Aug 5. Starting Aug 6, it shows "NR" (not released). This implies the campground will open August 6 - reservations will be released two weeks in advance on recreation.gov.

don't put too much stock by what you see on rec.gov website. at times it seems like NPS and rec.gov aren't talking to each other, and rec's website is often out to lunch. not at all sure that "NR" equates to "will be open". I find NPS website to be most accurate, although sometimes they don't give you much notice. rec.gov in the business of making $, not opening campgrounds.

yep. NPS now says no WW this year.

after walking thru WW a few weeks ago, it was clear there wasn't any plan to open it up. A lot of things in disrepair and there was no one working on improvements.

Update: You all hit the nail on the head! I've been to TM Grill and, amid the drizzle and downpour, it's getting a bit of TLC. And, oh, I must confess, the entrance reservations might be working. It felt delightfully uncrowded—or perhaps it was just a sprinkle of good timing!

reservations, plus the absence of 300+ campsites, able to accommodate up to 2,000 people, within walking distance of the grill...
