Hi Eric, I’m heading over Lamarck Col next week headed towards evolution valley. Did you use micro spikes or crampons?

Neither. I felt comfortable kicking steps just with my boots (or rather, deepening steps already there). My son wore crampons, but more for the practice of using them than anything. We both carried an ice axe, but felt it was unnecessary.
