0-1.5
Last night there was a bit of a breeze and no mosquitoes, this morning it was still and there were mosquitoes around and they were taking nips, but not in particularly unpleassnt numbers.

Virginia Lakes area, June 13-15
0-1.5, for mosquitoes, but the no-see-ums were MUCH worse! Those were probably 2-3.

Thompson and Stubblefield Canyons June 6/19-6/23
Hiked from Twin Lakes up past Peeler Lake to Kerrick Meadow and spent the night there and continued over to Thompson Canyon and again up-and-over to Stubblefield Canyon, where I spent the night. Went down Stubblefield to join the PCT and went south on it and back up Rancheria Creek and back out Robinson by passing back by Peeler and Barney Lakes again.
Overall - 3 - with pockets of 2 and 4 depending on the wind.
Stubblefield/Thompson Canyons - 2
Peeler Lake - 2
Kerrick Meadow/Rancheria Creek PCT - 4
Lake 9774T - 4
Will write and conditions/trip report in a couple days. Had a wonderful trip.

6/21-6/22 Yosemite Creek
Hiked down Yosemite Creek trail from Tioga Road to top of Yosemite Falls. Mosquitoes level 3 all day long in damp forest and along the creek - landing on bare skin frequently and got a few bites until I put on repellent. Not much breeze. Camped on a high open knoll far from water near the Eagle Peak trail junction where mosquitoes were only level 1.

Robinson Creek 6/21-6/23
3+
Started from Twin Lakes, went up Robinson Creek to Crown Lake, across Mule Pass, and came down Little Slide Canyon. Elevation ranged between 7000 to 10500 ft. Mosquitos were moderate to heavy the entire time. They were the worst in the 8000-9000 ft range.

Around Monarch Divide 6/19-6/22
FYI I forgot my picaridin this trip so take this report for what it is worth.
Up Copper creek to Mungoat pass a pleasant 1
4 at southernmost Kid Lake
3-4 between southernmost Kid Lake and the slope up to lake below Galcier Saddle
1 at Kid Lake just below Galcier Saddle
5 at glacier lakes. Pretty severe.
3 in glacier valley
3-4 all the way up to granite pass along dougherty creek
3 on top of glacier pass
5 bug apocalypse the entirety of granite basin
Once you exit granite basin and get to where you would cut over to grouse lake the bugs drop off significantly.
