i rode my bike over to sherwin creek road to go up the peak with the long ridge seen in picture . parked my bike and started running up some trails to get to the back part (west end) of the mammoth motocross site . an old mine road starts going uphill from there . i used that for a while , but there were too many fallen trees to negotiate , so i left it and headed directly toward the summit . there used to be a register on top but all i found this trip were pieces of the glass bottle that had once held a pad and pencil . here is some of the photos i took . . .
