There had been tons of rain in the week leading up to the trip, but the forecast looked like lots of sunshine for our trip.
Day 0: After lots of travel, we crashed in a couple cabins at the Lake Lodge.

Day 1: We took a boat ride from the Bridge Bay Marina across to the east side of Yellowstone Lake and then headed south to Site 5E1

Day 2: Site 5E1 to Site 6D2

Day 10: to Brooks Lake trailhead

We got to the trailhead and drove back to Yellowstone to collect the other car and then to a Snow Lodge Cabin near Old Faithful
