South Lake Trailhead May 25 conditions

Drove up 168 towards Sabrina Lake, road close at Aspendale Thursday May 25, 2023. Then drove to South Lake. Road closed mile from dam, walked up to check it out. Snow clearing going on toward the trailhead parking lot. Trailhead about 9,000 feet, i suppose you can gage others by elevation.

Thanks for the pics. We heard the road to Parcher's was opening up this weekend. Now at least we know the real conditions from your pics. Did you see any open water on lake? Just curious. I have been there many times and it looks like ice-out is a couple weeks away. Thanks again for sharing. By the way the lake is 9800ft.
