whats in your headphones?

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

If you don't know where you're going, then any path will get you there.

Nothing except my hearing aids.

Working with my audiologist, we developed a new program for them that highlights bird songs and insect sounds. Now while hiking I switch to the other program and pick up songs and sounds that were previously difficult to hear.

sorry to hear that Dave, I don't have hearing issues, so I can't relate. I hope I never will. Meanwhile, my son graduated from college and is gainfully employed, so this is in my headphones.
