Overnight spot for 5

Looking for an overnight spot on the PCT A COUPLE MILES PAST Glen Aulin. Headed to Summit lake have a new backpacker and don’t want to make the first day miserable. Ideas?

There are campiste along Cold Creek. Or if you want to make the day even easier, just hike up Conness Creek past the backpackers' campground. Lot of space up there.
