We loved this story about how the stripes on zebras repel biting flies. Now if it will only work on mosquitoes, we're ready to paint up!

I was above Sabrina Lake and it was hot and there was a mosquito infestation. A hiker came up to me wearing a jacket, long pants, wool hat and said it's really nice when you no longer get bitten. Zebra coats anyone? Thanks Paul for sharing this article! The horses wearing coats with striped patterns experienced fewer horse fly landings compared to when they wore single-color coats.

Super article, Paul; has anyone tried this? Does it work on backpackers? Dogs? Or does one need to hire the stooges to run interference? Cameron
