Emigrant Wilderness Water Situtation?

Post by Pietro257 »

I'm going on a trip in the Emigrant Wilderness starting Monday, July 10. Has anyone been there lately who can report on the water situation? Specifically I'd like to know if the creek at Crabtree Trailhead is running and if there's water in the West Fork of Cherry Creek (Louse Canyon).

My trip next week is a reprise of the same trip I took in July, 2014:

Thanks in advance.

We were there last week for 6 days (came out 7/5). Water was flowing in the creek by Crabtree TH and also in Louse Canyon at that time, although lower than I have seen them in previous years in early July. Have a great trip!

How was your trip? What did the water situation turn out to be?
