Sequoia area accommodations

All discussion related to transportation to, from and within the Sierra Nevada. Need directions or flight information? Info on road conditions? A ride to the trail head? Sequoia area accommodations

With no trailhead camping, I was considering just driving up from the San Diego area to Sequoia on the day of my trip (July), but that's just going to be too long for a first day. Any suggestions on cheap/clean accommodations in the Three Rivers vicinity?

Why not dispersed camp? Are there fire closures from the burns last year I'm unaware of?
