I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Summit Fire 7/22 Mokelumne Wilderness Update

Post by maverick »

Eldorado NF:
SUMMIT FIRE UDATED ACREAGE BASED ON INFARED FLIGHT - The Summit Fire on the Amador Ranger District is 22 acres, 20% contained. Updated acreage is based on more accurate mapping by an infared flight last night, not a significant change in fire size. Today, crews will be completing fireline construction around the perimeter of the fire and securing the perimeter.

TRAILS SAFETY ADVISORY: A safety advisory is in effect for three trails that extend into the fire area. Closures for portions of these trails will be going into effect soon.
*Trail 17E21 - Horse Canyon Trail
*Trail 17E24 - Hungalelti Ridge
*Trail 18E13

Eldorado NF:
SUMMIT FIRE UPDATE - 22 acres, 35% contained, fireline completed, interior hotspots being extinguished
