Doing a quick backpacking trip next weekend: a lollipop starting Rowell Meadow trailhead, across JO Pass, over Silliman, then back to Rowell Meadow via the Belle Canyon connector (or we might extend through Comanche Meadow for a couple extra miles if we're feeling frisky.) I'm wondering about the creeks: Rowell, Boulder, Sugarloaf, etc. Are they running enough to filter from? Or should I plan to fill up at lakes.
Also, how terrible are the mosquitos?
