We did a short hike to Alta Meadow. It is one of my favorite spots to camp. It seems like it is quite secluded despite being close to the popular Alta Peak hike.
We knew it was forecasted to be cold (17 deg for Friday night), and the forecast also said a chance of less than 1 inch accumulation of snow. Turns out, we probably got about 10 inches of snow dumped onto us in the afternoon. Some of us suffered, but I personally enjoyed every bit of it! Especially after the storm, it was so calm and beautiful. Below are the video and photos from the trip!

Wow, absolutely incredible. I would have loved to have been there (with my cozy down jacket and 10F bag of course)
Haha. My wife and I both had 0F bags and she was still somewhat cold!

Nice report! We bailed on a trip that same weekend because of the storm...
We semi-bailed... Since we originally planned to do two nights there, but left on second day since there was forecast for slightly more snow on Saturday. A couple of the people in the group were miserable. Haha

You're not selling it very well man Post the pictures, skip the video suffering Your wife is hilarious.
Haha! Her commentaries are entertaining. Even she laughs at herself in retrospect.
