Evidently they fell or were in rockfall and were both injured, the fellow died before rescue, the gal was rescued with a severe foot injury. They must have gotten lost as they tried to walk out. Not much detail is coming out regarding the accident.

How tragic, thanks for the update WD.

As an aside, I had looked at a topo of the area they tried to exit and then looked at the same area on Google Earth. Even the best topo map does not convey the horrendous terrain they were walking into as compared to GE.
