First up...a big Thank You! to @maverick for such consistent and continued info here.

Next up is a website that had somehow never shown up on my webcam searches trying to see what was going on re smoke, fires, sky conditions, etc. I came across it c/o a local online emergency information article but see that Maverick is using it in this thread. I did an HST search for it and came up with nothing, so here it is - as is by far the best for what I have been trying to find...No more piecemeal putting together funky webcam links from numerous sources!

What shows up first is a map of the West and you can click on where you want to go. However, it took a while to find out how to know where the various webcams were as nearly all the names were new to me.
So first, on the initial map, click the triple box-top icon at top right and click "Cameras" and "View Field", etc. They will then show up on the map as a dot. Click on that and it will give you the name of the location, but not the camera shot - yet. You then go to the top left of the page and click on the triple-horizontal-lines icon to get "Regions". Choose where you want and click - then the pictures show up at the "arrows" on the map at right side = the cameras. Once again, you can click the top right triple box-top icon for settings.
Move the map around or zoom to shift locations. Once at the actual picture from a webcam picture you can time-lapse, expand size, zoom in on the photo itself, etc., etc.

A rouge outbreak from the Cliff Fire seems to have started 9/9 according to the Caltopo Map, between Courtright and Dinkey Lakes, and the fires outer perimeter has reached the small lake just southeast of Cliff Lake.

Quietly popping up just to say that if/when Mono Hot Springs and/or VVR and/or MTR get burned out by the Creek Fire,

I may not emotionally recover.

The remaining 23 people, 14 vehicles, 3 horses, 5 dogs and 1 cat in Blayney Meadows are being evacuated by escorted caravan out of Florence Lake late afternoon today. A Blackhawk landed in the meadow two days ago to evac those running out of meds, as well as one National Guard pilot backpacker. They've buttoned things up as best as they could. And now we wait.

EDIT: The 20 people evacuated out of Florence this morning reported as being identified by aircraft aren't part of this group. They may be part of a church group that was camped at Blayney that voluntarily went down to the lake a few days ago (based on some bad advice from a guy, who knows a guy who knows a ranger...) and were reported via sat phone from Muir Trail Ranch.
