And I had gathered this statement from your report to comment on :

I'll say Paul; it's either that, or you suffer from sort of inability to feel heat, or comprehend exposure. The upside to this ailment is that it sets you up perfectly for climbing your high routes in the "new Sierra." Should we assume that you also thrive on smoke inhalation?

In seriousness, this trip of yours and Henry's was a brilliant and creative route, and I am glad I finally located it here. You definitely have inspired some of us--me among them! Thanks, Ian.

Paul, re. that 8th image-- the one with the caption: "Top of Tyndall Col looking east", I view it as looking NW from the col your guys were on-- "Tyndall Col" at the SE face of Tyndall. It includes the same lake that you called "Upper Versteeg Lake" in image #4. I am I onto the same image that you were questioning, or another. Nice shots from up there regardless!
