Horsebacking across the Sierras 2009

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

I, with 3 others, am trying to ride from Fremont, CA to Cedar City, UT through the Sierras May-June 2009. Can anyone suggest a good route from Yosemite to Pioche NV? I have a possible 10-day track from Fremont to Yosemite. Please post here or email me at pmr@cavenet.com.
