Over the weekend I was watching a few youtube videos as I was thinking about next summer's backpacking trips. I ran across the following video, where two guys use BAKrafts, i.e., inflatable kayaks, to run the Kern River from Lake South America to past the Kern Hot Spring, with many portages along the way. It's a unique epic adventure, IMO, with a bit of comedy thrown in along with way.

Note 1: it's not my video, I'm just posting for others to "enjoy".
Note 2: I need to remember to not drink the water from Lake South America (about the 5:00 mark of the video...)
