I've been traveling too much to have enough time for anything, but I did get to try a couple of sunsets recently. The first is in Chaco Canyon.
The second at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. (like I said, lots of traveling!)
I think I do see it Russ and Bobby. It's difficult because Paul's art is abstract, and symbolic. In the painting titled "Zimbabwe" the larger dark circle, held within the thin white circle clearly signifies Africa's dreaded colonial history, and the ongoing racial tension on that continent. The horizontal bar at the center of the inner black circle is less clear to me. Had the bar been painted in a diagonal slash, it would have denoted "forbidden," as in the forward slashes through dogs or campfires in our trailhead signs. Perhaps the lowering of the center bar represents a lessening of tension... and optimism for the future?I saw them for a while, and then got the google (-) symbol...
