Mark that is one of your best yet! I am dead set on skiing into that view this winter. Thanks for the inspiration, Ian.From backside - Cathedral
p.s. I'm dropping off 3 weeks worth of food and drink at the T.Meadows Ski Hut tomorrow. Your're welcome to share it come winter or spring.

Sketch of the Day -
Was up at Lake George Mammoth Lakes last week...
Thought about showing you how I work...sketch outline pencil, plein air (here on 1/2 sheet Arches watercolor paper)\, 1/2 way through, and finished and framed.

Mark, I don't know how you do it, but many of your watercolor paintings are reminiscent of the great works of Chiura Obata. Were you too an admirer of his work? I love your recent paintings of Cathedral Peak. Nice, nice artwork. Ian.
